WE know that selecting new employees can impact the future of your (any) organization – right?

IF you were to personally bring a “dud” into the group, what can you do about it? Coach them to be better? Promote them into another department? Fire them and risk retaliation?

On the flip side – how does it feel when you bring in a capable, engaged, and productive new team member who is a “dud-not?”

Using some sort of per-employment assessment tool to help confirm or help sort-out candidates is certainly worth the couple hundred each you’ll gladly pay to use science when selecting talent. NOTE – assessments should be no more than 1/3 of the decision…continue to use all the other screening options (multiple interviews, background and reference checks, etc.) to help make an informed decision.
